Guild to host Rolling Stones tribute concert

The Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild is hosting it’s second free concert of the summer on Aug. 10 at the amphitheater at Holiday Harbor Park. The Rolling Stones tribute concert features Jumping Jack Flash. Those who attended the Fine Arts Guild’s Beatles vs. Stones concert a few years ago at the lodge will remember Jumping Jack Flash for their remarkable energy and enthusiasm.

The concert will begin with a picnic in the park at 6 p.m., followed by the concert at 8 p.m.

There will be a food truck, taco truck, barbecue vendor and ice cream truck. The Jr. Women’s Club will be offering alcoholic beverages for purchase.

“We can’t guarantee the same sunset as our last event, but are preparing for an even larger crowd,” said Fine Arts Guild President Ron Martel. In addition to more food and beverage services, portable toilets will be added and shuttle buses will be provided.

The Fine Arts Guild is sponsoring this event, titled “It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll,” as part of its mission to promote entertainment and quality music to the community and to thank the community for its support throughout the year.
