CL golfers experience the wonders of Pebble Beach

A group of 13 Canyon Lake golfers traveled to the Monterey Peninsula to experience the wonders of Pebble Beach, one of the top golf destinations in the world since 1919.

The group lodged at The Inn at Spanish Bay, which has the sweeping California coast on one side and majestic Monterey Pines on the other.

The trip was organized by Brenda Kemball, wife of Canyon Lake Country Club Golf Director Pat Kemball, and attended by Pei Pei and Bobby Gunter, KK and Jesse Beecher, Brenda and Pat Kemball, Norma and Bruce Yarbrough, Donna Nunez, Barry Talbot, Vivian Estrada, William Byrne and Kyle Inman.

The group enjoyed a welcome dinner and golfing at Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course and The Links at Spanish Bay.

Jesse Beecher scored a 76, his second lowest round to date. He shot an eagle on hole 6 and birdies on holes 10 and 17.

Norma and Bruce’s 50th anniversary and Pei Pei and Bobby’s 39th anniversary were celebrated during a group dinner. The couples were presented with a cake.
