Bo is a seven-year-old Rottweiler mix looking for a loving home to call his own. According to his caretakers, this sweet boy loves treats and knows commands like sit and shake with both paws. He loves to give big kisses. Bo is easy to walk and is good with little dogs and feline friends. He is neutered and ready for adoption. His intake number is 255315. Reference picture: Bo.

Nay Nay is an eight-year-old mama cat who is hoping to find a “fur”ever home of her own. Her caretakers said she is a bit shy and can be independent when she feels like it but is quite a love once she gains your trust. Stop by and say hello to Nay Nay at the Petco in Temecula. All dog and cat adoption fees include a microchip, basic shelter vaccines (excluding rabies) and a free veterinarian check-up. All cats/kittens, pit bulls and Chihuahua adoptions are just $5 (spay/neuter fees, if applicable, are additional).

For adoption or fostering, contact Animal Friends of the Valleys (AFV) at 951-674-0618. The shelter is located at 33751 Mission Trail in Wildomar. Hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shelter offers animals for adoption as well as providing animal control and spay/neuter services. Low cost vaccinations and $20 microchipping are available seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at AFV’s Low Cost Spay/ Neuter Clinic at 29001 Bastron Ave., Lake Elsinore. Walk-ins are welcome.
