Kids invited to participate in Tennis Program

Tennis pros Pet Walrod and Meghan Dizon are hosting a second summer Jr. Tennis Program July 15 through July 19 for kids ages four through 16 who want to learn the game of tennis or improve their tennis skills. Participants do not have to reside in Canyon Lake to participate.

The Pee Wee class is for kids four to six and covers ball control skills, catching, throwing and basic stroke skills. The class meets from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Registration is $50.

The Junior Strokes class is for kids ages seven through 16 and covers ball control skills, basic stroke skills, gameplay, strategy, light running and agility drills. The class meets from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Registration is $125. To register, contact Meghan Dizon at 951-836-2716.
