Peluche is a seven-year-old Husky looking for a loving home to call his own. His caretakers said he is playful and loving. He enjoys hikes in the cool morning air and lounging in front of the air conditioner in the heat of the day. Peluche is neutered and ready to be adopted. His intake number is 239851. All dog and cat adoption fees include a microchip, basic shelter vaccines (excluding rabies) and a free veterinarian check-up. All cats/kittens, pit bulls and Chihuahua adoptions are just $5 (spay/neuter fees, if applicable, are additional).

For adoption or fostering, contact Animal Friends of the Valleys (AFV) at 951-674-0618. The shelter is located at 33751 Mission Trail in Wildomar. Hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shelter offers animals for adoption as well as providing animal control and spay/neuter services.

Low cost vaccinations and $20 microchipping are available seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at AFV’s Low Cost Spay/ Neuter Clinic at 29001 Bastron Ave., Lake Elsinore. Walk-ins are welcome.
