June is National Adopt a Shelter Cat Month and these cats are hoping to catch a lucky break and find “fur”ever homes to call their own.

Sweetie Pie is a four-year-old cat who was left in the shelter’s night drop after her owners passed away and their decedents were not able to care for her. Sweetie Pie is shy until she warms up to you. Her caretakers say she would do well in a quiet home. Her intake number is 330706. Reference picture: Sweetie Pie.

Mufasa is a handsome six-year-old cat looking for a kingdom to rule. His caretakers say he does well with other cats but will not venture into dark areas of the shelter where there are dogs. He is a vocal boy who loves to be pampered with ear rubs and scratches. Mufasa is neutered and ready to go to his “fur”ever home. His intake number is 469178. Reference picture: Mufasa.

Loverboy is 28 pounds of love. The seven-year-old loves getting pets and rubs except on his belly. His caretakers say he is super sweet and loving. He needs a human who can give him a better feeding schedule and some exercise. Loverboy is neutered and ready to go to his “fur”ever home. His intake number is 468204. Reference picture: Loverboy.

Sampson. Photo provided by AFV

Sampson is a four-year-old neutered cat whose owner was forced to relinquish him due to health issues. His caretakers say he is confused as to why he is at the shelter and would love to find a “fur”ever home and a family to call his own. Sampson would do best in a quiet home where he can have some space to himself. His intake number is 300244. Reference picture: Sampson.

All adoption fees include a microchip, basic shelter vaccines (excluding rabies) and a free veterinarian check-up. All cats/kittens, pit bulls and Chihuahua adoptions are just $5 (spay/neuter fees, if applicable, are additional).
