Street Carts of CL to host Poker Run fundraiser

The Street Carts of Canyon Lake is hosting its community golf cart Poker Run fundraiser on Saturday, June 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $10 per poker hand. Registration and club membership is not required to participate.

The Poker Run fun will begin at Sierra Park where players check in, pick up a score sheet and pick their first poker card.

From Sierra Park, players will travel at their own pace to four other checkpoints: Diamond Point Park, Roadrunner Beach, Sunset Beach and Holiday Harbor Park. Players will draw a card at each checkpoint. Each time a player draws a card, the dealer will note it on the player’s score sheet.

Once the player has visited each checkpoint, the player returns to Sierra Park to turn in their score sheet. The player with the best poker hand wins. Gift Cards will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. There will also be an opportunity drawing for prizes and a 50/50 drawing.

Proceeds from the Poker Run will go towards helping local families in need.

Street Carts of Canyon Lake is a golf cart club that holds community events to raise funds for its charitable work. The club hosts the annual Golf Cart Parade, Poker Run and Golf Cart Drive-in Movie Night.
