Sprinklers bring Movies in the Park to a halt

The POA kicked-off Movies in the Park last Friday evening at Holiday Harbor Park. The movie is the first event to be held at the new amphitheater since it was completed in January.

Approximately 100 kids and adults filled the amphitheater with blankets and chairs for a viewing of “How To Train Your Dragon 3.” The movie came to an abrupt halt when the sprinkles turned on due to an oversight with the timer.

Future Movies in the Park nights include “Ralph Breaks the Internet” on Aug. 2 and “A Dogs Way Home” on Sept. 27. Movies start at dusk. Movies in the Park are free events for Canyon Lake residents and their guests.
