Car Show offers free fun for whole family

Rev up your engine and head on over to the Lamb’s Fellowship 5th annual Car and Motorcycle Show tomorrow. The church is located at 21901 Railroad Canyon Rd. Gates open at 10 a.m. and close at 3 p.m. Admission is free.

This year’s show features more than 300 cars and motorcycles, live music featuring the surf sounds of the Fabulous Nomads, six food trucks, bounce houses, more than 50 vendors, an opportunity drawing, a silent auction and a visit from Storm Stadium’s mascot Thunder.

New this year is a raffle for an opportunity to win a restored 2006 Chevy Suburban. Raffle tickets are $20 each. EZ Car Pros, Smiley’s Empire Tire and Wheel, Audio Evolution, Lopez Custom Paint and Body, Temecula Transmission, Family Tire Pros and Junior’s Custom Upholstery have teamed up to restore the vehicle and sponsor the raffle. The winner will be announced at the show at 3 p.m. Winner must be present.

The silent auction features an $800 Traeger grill, collectible memorabilia from the television show Bitchin’ Rides and seven Lamb’s Fellowship logo jackets, to name a few. Automotive products and a flat screen television are among this year’s raffle prizes.

The show’s executive director is Canyon Lake resident Paul Kakis. The Canyon Lake Car Club is a Silver Sponsor and several members will be participating in the show.

Car registration is $35. Forty trophies will be awarded. Vendor registration is $75. To register, visit lambscarshow.com.
