Wakeboard Club hosts Learn to Ride Day

The Canyon Lake Wakeboard Club hosted the first of three Learn to Ride Days for the 2019 season. The event is designed for anyone and everyone interested in learning how to wakeboard or wakesurf. There is an expert level rider on each boat that can help a veteran rider polish up a trick or teach a beginner how to get up for the first time. It is always fun to see the smile on someone’s face the first time they get up.

Having your own equipment is not necessary to attend this event. Andy Judson from Liquid Force and Ben Sims from Hyperlite were once again onsite with all their demo gear for everyone to try.

The next Learn to Ride Day is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 28 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the north ski area. Bring a towel and sunscreen and enjoy another great Canyon Lake event.
