The Motels to perform June 22 at lodge

The Motels will be making their debut in Canyon Lake on Saturday, June 22, in the Holiday Bay Room at the lodge.

The new wave band is best known for their singles “Only the Lonely” and “Suddenly Last Summer,” each of which peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2018, the band released their new record “The Last Few Beautiful Day.”

General Admission tickets cost $29. VIP tickets cost $54. There are less than 35 VIP tickets left. Tickets are on sale now at the POA office and online at canyonlakepoa.com.

The concert is part of the POA’s Concerts at the Lodge series. The 2019 concert series will conclude on Nov. 2 with a performance by country music singer and songwriter Billy Dean. Dean’s studio albums have accounted for more than 20 hit singles on the Billboard country charts, including 11 Top Ten hits. Tickets for this concert are on sale now. General Admission tickets cost $24. VIP tickets cost $49.
