CLCT to hold ‘Beauty and the Beast’ auditions

The Canyon Lake Community Theatre provides the community with access to the performing arts by providing a platform and showcase for local talent. The club engages and entertains the community by providing theatre experience for all ages, from all youth productions to its musicals under the stars.

Residents of all ages are invited to audition for the Canyon Lake Community Theatre’s upcoming production of “Beauty and the Beast.” Auditions will be held on May 18 at 9 a.m. in the East Port Activities Room at East Port Park. All parts are open; seniors, adults, teens and children are encouraged to audition.

Participants should prepare a one-minute Broadway-style karaoke song to be performed at the audition. Dress casual and be prepared to learn a short simple dance routine.

The full-scale Broadway-style musical production will be performed on the stage at Indian Beach during the last two weeks in August.
