CL veterans invited to participate in parade

Looking forward to Memorial Day weekend, Canyon Lake veterans are reminded that they are invited to participate in the Veterans Brigade in the 46th annual Fiesta Day parade on May 25 by riding in golf carts decorated in a patriotic theme. Participants are asked to place a sign on the front of the golf cart that indicates the veteran’s name, branch of service and years of service.

Relatives or friends of veterans who are unable to participate are welcome to join the Veterans Brigade in honor of their loved one or friend.

Dave Harrigan is coordinating this effort again this year and asks veterans to contact him at 951-746-3460 to sign up and learn where the Veterans Brigade will be staged before the parade.

Participants will need to line up at the staging area no later than 8:15 a.m.
