City Hall relocates administrative offices

City Hall has officially moved its administrative offices to its new location in the Towne Center at 31526 Railroad Canyon Rd., adjacent to its former location. The new office space is approximately 1,371 sq. ft. The Council approved $25,000 from the Capital Improvement Fund for the city manager to purchase furniture and miscellaneous office equipment and supplies necessary for conducting the administrative services of the city in this new space.

The city is leasing the space for $2,600 per month; however, the city will save $250 per month by moving its Code Enforcement offices from a leased space to the city’s former administrative office space, which is owned by the city. After the city gave notice to the owner of the leased space about its plans to move its Code Enforcement offices, the owner notified the city of his plans to sell the building for $540,000. City Hall operating hours will remain the same, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
