Canyon Lake 6th graders win art awards

Canyon Lakers Luke and Matthew Thomas, 6th graders at Elsinore Middle School, are winners in the 50th anniversary of the California PTA Reflections Art Program. The program brings art to life across the nation. This year’s theme was “Heroes Among Us.”

Luke earned an Award of Merit in Visual Arts and an Award of Excellence in Music Composition at Elsinore Middle School. He went on to earn an Award of Merit at the Lake Elsinore PTSA Council level.

Matthew earned an Award of Merit in Literature and an Award of Excellence in Video Production at Elsinore Middle School. He went on to earn an Award of Excellence at the Lake Elsinore PTSA Council level and a Participation Award at the Riverside PTA District level.
