CLAA Art Show features works of local artists

The Canyon Lake Art Association invites the community to its annual Art Show on May 18 from 11 a.m. to 4. p.m. at the senior center. The show features the works of local artists specializing in painting, drawing, digital art, photography and other types of art, art for sale, a silent auction, a raffle and light refreshments.

The Canyon Lake Art Association is a non-profit organization formed in 1976 with the primary purpose of promoting understanding and appreciation of the visual arts in the community, encouraging advance study in the field of art and providing exhibits and programs for local artists.

Meetings are held September through June on the fourth Monday at 7 p.m. at the senior center and are highlighted with demonstrations and/or paintings. Membership is open to individuals ages 18 and older. Annual membership is $10. For more information, contact Joanie Evarts at 951-454-0833.
