Tennis Club hosts Championship Tournament

The Canyon Lake Tennis Club held its Championship Tournament on Apr. 6. The tournament was organized by Tennis Pro Pete Walrod.

The winners are as follows:

Women’s Doubles 4.0: Kristen Kennedy and Becky Ness

Women’s Doubles 3.0: Sue Hastings and Rhianna Thompson

Men’s Doubles: Vern Clayton and Bill Conlin

Mixed Doubles 7.0: Danette Conlin and Bill Conlin

Women’s Fastest Serve: Meg Marclay, 89 mph

Men’s Fastest Serve: Vern Clayton, 99 mph

The Tennis Club invites residents to join in on social play days on Mondays and Fridays at 8 a.m. Social play is a free activity open to all levels of players and is a great way to meet other players without committing to a schedule.
