Wakeboard Club to host Learn to Ride Day

The Canyon Lake Wakeboard Club will host Learn to Ride Day on Apr. 27 at the north ski area. Signups start at 9 a.m., riding starts at 10 a.m. Participants are taken on a first come, first served basis. The cost is $15 per person. A valid POA card is required to participate.

Canyon Lakers of all ages are invited to learn to ride a wakeboard or improve  their wakeboarding skills. With the help from sponsors, the club provides boats and equipment for the day. Club members will be on hand to provide training for any level of rider.

Following Learn to Ride Day, the Wakeboard Club will host its first tournament of the season on May 4 at the north ski area. Individuals interested in entering the tournament should speak with a club representative at Learn to Ride Day or visit the club’s website at canyonlakewakeboardclub.com.

The Canyon Lake Wakeboard Club caters to beginners to the most advanced riders. The club promotes the sport of wakeboarding by hosting tournaments and sponsoring Learn to Ride Day events.
