Legendary rock band Great White made their debut in Canyon Lake when they played to a sold-out audience on Apr. 6.

Joining lead singer Mitch Malloy on stage was Mark Kendall on guitar, Michael Lardie on guitar and keyboards, Scott Snyder on bass and Audie Desbrow on drums. Their 12-song setlist included “Save Your Love,” “House of Broken Love,” “Lady Red Light” and the band’s Grammy-nominated Best Hard Rock Performance hit “Once Bitten, Twice Shy.”

“Mitch Malloy’s performance as lead singer of the band was one of the most dynamic performances I have ever seen in over 30 years in the business,” said concert promoter Doug Schultz. “Having a band the caliber of Great White play here was a major coup for Canyon Lake.”

Band members signed autographs and posed for photos during a Meet and Greet after the show.

Opening the show for the iconic 80s band was three-time San Diego Music Award winner Chris James.

The concert was the second of four concerts in the POA’s 2019 “Concerts at the Lodge” series. The next POA concert will be held on June 22 and will feature the new wave band The Motels, best known for their hit singles “Only the Lonely” and “Suddenly Last Summer.” VIP tickets for this show are $54. General Admission tickets are $29.
