Lions Charity Tournament winners announced

Fifty-two players participated in the Canyon Lake Lions Club 29th annual Charity Golf Tournament on Mar. 28. The winners of the Pro-Am Tournament are Joanna Spiller, Pro Pat Kemball, Barbara Weatherman and Linda Kamashian with a score of 120.

The Scramble Tournament winners are Streamline Painting members John Scheurer, Scott Lowrance, Glen Poysner and David Waterland with a score of 60.

The Longest Drive winners on hole 14 are Marlene Cathro, Adam Kloster and Bryan Carlson. Closest to the Pin winners are Valerie Montgomery on hole 8, Glen Poysner on hole 17 and Bryan Carlson on hole 11.

The Lions Club will be making a donation to the Guide Dogs of the Desert, World Services for the Blind and many other charities thanks to the success of the tournament.

The club would like to thank Pat Kemball for providing pro golfers to create the Pro-Am Tournament, the 15 sponsors of the event and the many people who donated items for the raffle.
