Bassmasters to host tournament for kids

Kids ages 15 and under are invited to participate in the Jr. Bassmasters Tournament on Sunday, Apr. 28, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Boats will be provided. The Canyon Lake Bassmasters Club invites kids ages 15 and under to participate in its annual Jr. Bassmasters Tournament on Sunday, Apr. 28, from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Kids do not have to be a resident of Canyon Lake to participate but must be under the age of 16 on Aug. 1.

Registration is $30 and includes lunch and a Fishing League Worldwide membership. Boats will be provided for the tournament.

Registration is required. Kids may register with a friend or be paired with another participant. The top four teams will move on to the Junior Angler State Championship on May 25 at the San Joaquin River Delta.
