Chamber announces annual Golf Tournament winners

More than 120 golfers participated in the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce’s annual Golf Tournament on Mar. 16. Dinner, awards and a raffle followed play.

The Chamber of Commerce sponsored a junior golf team and covered the cost of their golf and dinner. The team won the Jack and Jill Flight.

Part of the proceeds from the tournament will go toward the Canyon Lake Jr. Golf program.

The winners are as follows:

Senior Flight: Bobby Gunter, Gil Cervantes, Jack Gray and Fred Hemborg.

Open Flight: Greg Perry, Johnathan Huckins, Jason Jernigan and Bobby Ousterhout.

Jack and Jill Flight: Nixon Lauritzen, Trinity Wheelock, Thomas Little and Zaylee Wheelock

Jeremy Smith is the winner of the Closest to the Pin contest. Stan Gonzales won the Longest Drive contest.

There were no hole-in-one prize winners this year.
