Swimming, water polo signups underway

Signups for swimming lessons and water polo classes at the pool are underway and spots are filling up fast. Parents who wish to sign up their children for these classes are urged to do so now. Signups are taken at the pool office.

Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons start June 17 and end Aug. 2. There will be no lessons from July 1 to July 5. The cost is $80 per week and $50 for a second week or additional child. Purchase two weeks and receive the third week free. Only one free week per household.

Lessons are 30 minutes. Choose starting time of 10:15 a.m. or 11 a.m.

Adult swim lessons, from beginners to perfecting technique, are available on request.

Water Polo

Water polo classes start June 17 and end Aug. 2. Classes are held Monday through Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $55 per week. Buy two weeks and receive the third week free. Only one free week per household. All additional weeks cost $45 per week. Participants must be able to swim the full length of the pool, 25 yards.
