Pool season kicked off on Saturday

Few residents were willing to brave the chilly weather on Saturday to kick off the spring pool season. At 5:30 p.m., the visitor count was 47. According to pool staff, the water temperature was a warm 85 degrees.

All new pool furniture has been added this year, including two styles of lounges and chairs, tables, side tables and umbrellas with cup holders.

The pool is open from 7 to 10 a.m. for lap swim and water aerobics.

Open swim hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
