Charger

Charger is a four-year-old Shepherd Husky mix looking for a family to love. This good boy knows how to sit and lay down on command. He loves attention and treats. Charger is neutered and ready to go to his “fur”ever home. His intake number is 432518. Reference picture: Charger.

Snowflake is a 10-month-old kitty who is looking for a home to call her own. Her caretakers say she is a cuddly bundle of love with a lot of personality. Snowflake needs to be spayed before going to her “fur”ever home. Her intake number is 443300. Reference picture: Snowflake.

All dog and cat adoption fees include a microchip, basic shelter vaccines (excluding rabies) and a free veterinarian check-up. All cats/kittens, pit bulls and Chihuahua adoptions are just $5 (spay/neuter fees, if applicable, are additional).

For adoption or fostering, contact Animal Friends of the Valleys (AFV) at 951-674-0618. The shelter is located at 33751 Mission Trail in Wildomar. Hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shelter offers animals for adoption as well as providing animal control and spay/neuter services.

Low cost vaccinations and $20 microchipping are available seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at AFV’s Low Cost Spay/ Neuter Clinic at 29001 Bastron Ave., Lake Elsinore. Walk-ins are welcome.
