Canyon Lakers show off talent at Quilt Show

Eight Canyon Lake women participated in the annual Valley Quilters Quilt Show held on Feb. 8 and 9 at the Valley-Wide Recreation Center in San Jacinto. With more than 100 quilts on display, the Canyon Laker women were pleased to place third in three categories.

Kathy Barbay placed third in Piecing for a large quilt, Lynda Morrissette placed third in Piecing for a small quilt and Vannarin Warren placed third in Computer Assisted Machine Quilting. The women were awarded ribbons.

Other Canyon Lake women who participated in the show include Kathy Ray, Marjean Marich, Johnnie D’Alessandro, Janie Currey, and Edna Hornkohl.
