Canyon Lake Kids Club explores DeJong’s Dairy

Members of the Canyon Lake Kids Club enjoyed a field trip to DeJong’s Dairy on Jan. 22. The children fed the cows, learned how milk was made and enjoyed cookies and chocolate milk.

Other club activities in January included making paper kazoos, learning about Groundhog Day and celebrating Ms. Rocio’s birthday. Upcoming activities include a Valentine’s Day party and learning about being a best friend.

The Kids Club is a program in which young children and their parents or grandparents enjoy a morning of crafts, music, exercise, games, sports and a snack for just $2 per session. Those who purchase a 10-class punch card receive two classes free. Punch cards can be purchased in class.

Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the Pool View Room at the lodge.
