The Woman’s Club held a special holiday meeting in December that featured a visit and photos with Santa, fun holiday games that included using toilet paper to turn members into snowmen, a group sing-a-long of “The 12 Days of Christmas,” an ornament exchange and toy donations for Spark of Love. The toys were presented to Leonard Grill,  retired fire caption of Quail Valley Fire Station 5. Grill now serves as Battalion 13 Spark of Love coordinator.

The Woman’s Club meets monthly on the third Wednesday in the Holiday Bay Room at the lodge. Vendor hour starts at 9 a.m., meeting starts at 10 a.m. and lunch is served at 12 p.m. Lunch is $14. For reservations, call 858-449-7297 or email canyonlakewomansclub@gmail.com.
