Letter: Thank You

I would like to extend a huge thank you to all the wonderful women of the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club and their spouses and to all who helped and enjoyed the Holiday Auction in November and the “Christmas in Paradise” Home Tour on Dec. 1. These events were extremely successful and a lot of work for all who volunteered. We are all thrilled that so many new members and visitors came to enjoy the excitement and participate in these events.

A special thank you goes to Kathy Ray and her army of volunteers for the time and energy they spent to make the “Christmas in Paradise” Home Tour so much fun and beautiful. Also, a big thank you goes to homeowners Diana and Lee Adele, Sandy and Lance Lillie, the Mirich family, Shannon and Doug Wells and Kasey and Greg Castillo, who generously showcased their homes for the tour.

A huge thank you to The Friday Flyer for weekly printing the detailed description of the homes supplied by Lou DeYoung.

Thank you to Terri Ireland and Gay Troy for coordinating the Christmas tree, wreath, and centerpiece raffle and to all the ladies who created these beautiful masterpieces.

Aprile McKinnon did a fabulous job organizing the vendors and Jennifer Dain and Jane Lafferty’s committee baked the delicious cookies.

Rose Marie Hand, Vicki Young and Karen Wallace are so much appreciated for coordinating the hostesses, including some local high school students. Thank you to Karen Doherty and Jan May who were in charge of the ticket sales, they were very successful.

The proceeds generated from the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club events are donated for scholarships to local aspiring young ladies and the local community.
