Choraleers to present holiday concert tonight

The Canyon Lake Choraleers will be spreading holiday cheer tonight, Dec. 14, as the group presents their first evening concert, “Let it Snow,” at 7 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room at the lodge. VIP tickets cost $20. General Admission tickets cost $15. Tickets are available at the POA office, from any Choraleers member and brownpapertickets.com.

For this year’s holiday concert, Director Lorliee Bajema has selected traditional sacred and secular Christmas music.

The concert features a stunning multi-media presentation featuring a 30-voice choir and selected video clips with instruments such as drums, trumpet, violin and more.

In addition to Canyon Lake’s resident pianist, Lynda Salina, the Choraleers will be accompanied by 14-year-old harpist Kylene Evans.

An opportunity drawing will be held during intermission. Raffle items include eight baskets ranging in value of $60 to $125.
