CLAMS donates laptop to Loma Linda Hospital

Canyon Lake Association of Men Board Member Tom  Da’Amato and his wife Janet delivered a new Lenova laptop to the Loma Linda Children’s Hospital  Child Life Cancer Unit on behalf of the CLAMS organization.

The laptops aid the children in their efforts to keep up with their school studies during their stay in the hospital. “The staff and educators were overjoyed to receive our laptop gift,” said Mark Inkorte of the CLAMS. “These laptops do a lot of good for the children’s spirit and education.”

The CLAMS continue to raise money throughout the year to fund its philanthropic activities. Nothing is more important to the CLAMS membership than knowing that the money the members raise is going to improve the lives of children and those in need.

The CLAMS is a non-profit organization that has been in existence for more than 40 years. The club awards scholarships to deserving Canyon Lake high school male seniors and donates to other Canyon Lake clubs that help those in need. Membership is open to all Canyon Lake men who have a desire for friendship, volunteering, fundraising and fun times.

Regular meetings are held on the third Wednesday from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. during the months of January, February, March, May, October and November. For more information, contact Bud Hanner at 951-244-6315 or email canyonlakeclams@gmail.com.
