Women’s Golf announces Turkey Shoot winners

No turkeys were harmed during the Women’s Golf Club Turkey Shoot Jack and Jill Golf Tournament held on Nov. 11. Fourteen teams of four played a game where each person was assigned to be a turkey, pilgrim, pumpkin or Indian. The scores of two players were counted on each hole, but the teams did not know which player’s scores to count until arriving at the next tee box. After the tournament, players were stuffed with a turkey clubhouse sandwich.

The winners are as follows:

A Flight

1st Low Gross: Marilyn Bridges, Marcus Schonabaum, Geri Meeks and Darrell Wetherbee.

1st Low Net:  Linda and Joe Kamashian and Jesse and KK Beecher.

2nd Low Gross: Babette and John Stubbs and Julie and Tom Faia.

2nd Low Net: Jeanette Williams, Sam Theodora and Chuck and Linda Hudson.

 B Flight

1st Low Gross: Kathy and Terry Voss, Victoria Shankland and Kathy Homewood.

1st Low Net: Ellie and Bob Clow, Jill Garber and Thom Merry.

2nd Low Gross: Maxine Whalen, Robb Smith, Donna Nunez and Barry Talbot.

2nd Low Net: Ina and Bob Pickard and Mimi and Vince La Rosa.
