Board of Directors approve funding for new entrance signs

The POA is in the process of updating all signage at the estates, east gate, north gate and country club. The signs at the east gate and country club are the next signs scheduled to be updated.

The signage for the estates is in plan check. At the Board of Directors Regular Session Meeting, the board approved funding in the amount of $48,700 plus a 2.5 percent contingency from the Repair and Replacement Fund 02-670 to replace and update the east gate signage and $38,000 plus a five percent contingency from the

Repair and Replacement Fund 02-670 to replace the country club signage. The style of the east gate signage will match the main gate signage but will not have a water feature or standing lighthouse.

The lighthouse will be incorporated into the sign similar to the Fairway Estates sign. Work will include permits, demolition, wall, pilasters, stonework, cantilever coping and signage to match the main gate. This will also tie into the upcoming new sound wall along Goetz Rd.

The approximate cost of the demo, wall and brickwork is $41,700. The cost of the backlit signage is $7,000.
The sign at the country club is being replaced because it is sun-faded and the wording is not organized in a way to grab the attention of members and the public to use the facility.

The new signage will include an aluminum LED backlit top clearly stating all the newly renovated country club has to offer.
