Pickleball Club announces 2018/2019 board members

The Pickelball Club announced its new 2018/2019 board members during its October mixer. The new board members and their positions are as follows:

President: Steve Libring

Vice President: Jeannette Williams

Secretary: Diane Libring

Treasurer: Kim Keigwin

Membership: Tish Penner

Social Director: Char Mirich

Social Director: Nancy Hoke.

The club currently has more than 120 active members. On Nov. 9, more than 20 members of the Pickleball Club will be traveling to the Indian Wells for the Pickleball National Championship.

Other upcoming activities include a club only social mixer with a Thanksgiving theme on Nov. 15 and a social mixer with a sports theme on Jan. 17. A clinic for beginners will be held on Apr. 13.

“We’ve had some fantastic events and we’re looking forward to having more people enjoy the game,” said Vice President Jeannette Williams. “We invite residents to come out and learn how to play pickleball on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8 to 10 a.m. and in the evening at 6 p.m.
