Jeffery E. Crow

Long-time resident of Canyon Lake, Jeffery E. Crow, Ph.D., age 73, passed away on Oct. 15, 2018, at Riverside Community Hospital from complications set forth due to a stroke.

Jeff is survived by wife Sharon, son Chas (Kyla), sisters Pandy (Robin) and Melissa, and grandchildren Logan James Nichols and Alice June Nichols.

Jeff was born in Houston, Texas, the only son of William (Bill) and Sybil Crow. As a youth, Jeff was an accomplished Eagle Scout where he learned many skills that aided in his life journey.

Jeff is a Navy veteran who served as a hospital corpsman and psychiatric technician during the Vietnam conflict. Upon his discharge from the Navy, Jeff chose to remain in California and went on to attend Chapman College where he was blessed with the opportunity to complete his master’s degree while traveling the world aboard a ship.

Jeff went on to get a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from International College. After college, Jeff began a successful practice as a licensed marriage and family counselor and certified sex therapist. Jeff’s passion for helping others allowed him to practice until his final moments.

Jeff enjoyed many hobbies such as dancing, golf, boating and he loved watching football. Jeff was an active member of the community, participating in many organizations throughout his residency in Canyon Lake.

Memorial Services will be held at the Canyon Lake Community Church Chapel, 30515 Railroad Canyon Rd, Canyon Lake, CA, 92587, on Monday, Nov. 12, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held at 11 a.m. at Lake Elsinore Elks Lodge, 33700 Mission Trail, Wildomar, CA, 92595.
