CLAMS present donation to 4 Paws 4 Patriots

More than 50 members of the Canyon Lake Association of Men attended the club’s October dinner meeting at the Country Club, where they presented a $200 check to 4 Paws 4 Patriots, a licensed 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides assistance to veterans and first responders with disabilities in acquiring and training a service dog.

The organization combines love and respect for veterans and first responders with love and devotion to saving a shelter dog. Tim Le Blanc, CEO of 4 Paws 4 Patriots, shared the process, cost and time it takes to turn rescued dogs into life-changing, and sometimes lifesaving, support partners.

The members of the CLAMS continue to raise money and donate time to help support organizations like 4 Paws 4 Patriots. They believe in supporting the local community and those who represent the good in people and betterment of those less fortunate.

The CLAMS organization has been in existence for more than 40 years. Membership is open to all Canyon Lake Men who have a desire for friendship, volunteering, fundraising and fun times. Regular meetings are held on the third Wednesday from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. during the months of January, February, March, May, October and November.
