Princesses, pirates, ghosts, superheroes, cartoon characters and everything in between are invited to the 26th annual Parade of Frights on Saturday, Oct. 27, with registration beginning at 9 a.m. in front of City Hall.
Hosted by the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce, the Parade of Frights features costumed children trick-or-treating at more than 50 Towne Center businesses using the chamber’s “Treasure Map.” Participating businesses will stamp the map and hand out treats. Completed maps are entered for a prize drawing.
Other features include carnival games, costume contests with prizes, bounce house and music by Mike Shroyer of Good Time Entertainment. Thunder of Storm Stadium will lead the costume parade again this year. The chamber is seeking sponsors for this event. For more information, contact Alison Burrafato at 951-244-6124.
