Pickleball Club tourney winners announced

The Pickleball Club held the last tournament of its “Summer of Fun” series on Saturday, Sept. 29. The tournament was organized by Tish Penner.

Twelve players competed in timed round robin games with rotating partners. After 2 rounds, Team Two took the win. The winners, Steve Davenport, Marilyn Stovall, Mike Hoke, Lisa Patton, Susan Pinard and Alan Goldberg, received $20 POA gift cards.

Team One, Jeanette Williams,  Evan Pinard, Nancy Contreras, Mike Patton, Margaret Little and Chris Williams, received consolation prizes.

The Pickleball Club welcomes beginners and regular players for social play Monday through Friday from 8 to 10 a.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. A Twilight Social Mixer is held for all players once a month on the third Thursday from 6 to 10 p.m. All skill levels are welcome.
