Honor local veteran with brick, banner

The City of Canyon Lake is perpetually selling commemorative bricks and banners to honor veterans and active duty military.

The commemorative bricks are installed in the circle around the monument at the Veterans Memorial Park in the Towne Center. The cost is $50 per brick and includes three lines, up to sixteen characters. Bricks can be purchased at City Hall and Pack, Wrap and Post in the Towne Center.

In 2015, the city began its Military Banner Program for residents to honor active duty military personnel and veterans who reside in Canyon Lake. The banners are hung on light poles on Railroad Canyon Rd. and in the Towne Center. The banner includes the honoree’s name and photo.
