Clubs seek donations for community garage sale

The Canyon Lake Lions Club and Lioness Club are combining their annual garage sales this year to host one big community garage sale fundraiser. The clubs are seeking donations of household items and clothing to be sold at the garage sale.

Those who wish to donated items for this fundraiser are asked to drop off their items Oct. 15 or Oct. 16 at the home of Lioness Shirley D’Agostino at 30489 Meadowlark Dr.

The garage sale will be held at Shirley’s home on Friday, Oct. 19, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 20, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Items to be sold include kitchenware, china, glassware, clothing, books, decorative housewares, small appliances, holiday decorations, electronics and jewelry.

The proceeds from the sale will be used to help Canyon Lake families in need and to support organizations that aid the sight-impaired. For more information, contact Lioness Joanna Spiller at 951-244-1553.
