‘Concerts at the Lodge’ 2019 lineup announced

The eclectic lineup of the POA’s 2019 “Concerts at the Lodge” series is a mix of new wave, rock and roll and country music.

New wave and pop-rock band Missing Persons is set to perform at the lodge on Saturday, Feb 9. Missing Persons rose to stardom in the early 1980s and became a must-see band among the Los Angeles live music crowd. The band is known for their singles “Mental Hopscotch,” “Surrender Your Heart,” “Words” and “Walking in L.A.”

Rock and roll band Great White will perform on Saturday, Apr. 6. Formed in 1977, Great White gained popularity in the 1980s and early 1990s. The band reached their peak popularity with their “Once Bitten, Twice Shy” album. By the end of 2007, Great White had sold more than 10 million records worldwide.

The Motels will perform at the lodge on Saturday, June 22. The new wave band is best known for their singles “Only the Lonely” and “Suddenly Last Summer.”

Country music artist Craig Campbell is scheduled to perform on Saturday, Nov. 2. Craig has had seven singles on the country chart. His new single, “See You Try,” was released in June.

“Canyon Lake, we are going to have so much fun next year,” said Doug Schultz, Canyon Lake resident and concert promoter for the POA’s concerts. “See you there!”

Tickets will go on sale in a few weeks and can be purchased at the POA office and on the POA’s website at canyonlakepoa.com.
