Car Club well represented at SRA Car Show

Members of the Canyon Lake Car Club have been racking up the awards at various car shows this year. Most recently, the Car Club was well represented at Santa Rosa Academy’s annual Car Show and Freedom Run on Sept. 15 in Menifee.

The club and several members were presented with awards. Mark Bann won the Vice Principal’s Choice award for his 1959 Studebaker, Dave Deboe’s custom Cabriolet earned him the Best Custom award and Dennis McCoy won the Coaches Choice award for his unique two-door Woody Wagon.

The Canyon Lake Car Club had just under 20 cars registered in the show, earning the Club Participation award. Car Club President Joe Landin proudly accepted the award on behalf of the Car Club.
