Junior Book Club returns to Canyon Lake library Sept. 26

The Canyon Lake Library Junior Book Club returns from summer break Sept. 26 at 4 p.m. The club will have a virtual meeting with Tracy Hecht, author of “The Nocturnals.

The Adult Book Club will meet on Sept. 24 at 4 p.m. to discuss the book “The Sandcastle Girls” by Chris Bohjalian. The library has a few remaining copies of this story of love and war. This combination of social and educational program is always open to new participants.

Play Day also meets on Sept. 24. The program provides a safe place for social interaction for preschoolers and their parents and caretakers.

Toddler Story Time meets every Monday at 11 a.m. in the Kids Cove at the library. Miss Ginny’s Story Time meets every other Friday at 11:30. The next meeting is Oct. 5.
