Rod Stewart tribute concert tickets on sale

Tickets are on sale now for the Rod Stewart tribute concert hosted by the Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild on Saturday, Nov. 3, in the Holiday Bay Room at the lodge.

Tribute artist Gregory Wolfe will present the music of the wildly popular Rod Stewart, performing “Maggie May,” “Hot Legs,” “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy,” “Forever Young” and a string of other chart-busting hits by one of the best selling music artists of all time.

Gregory has been performing as Rod Stewart since 1984 and has taken his act worldwide, from Bangkok to Berlin to Boston. During that time, he has gained substantial notoriety amongst his peers and fans for his exciting performance of the rock icon. Bearing a striking resemblance to the legend, he needs no makeup. “I can just roll out of bed and jump on stage,” said the tribute artist.

With a rollicking backup band, Gregory says the best part about performing as Rod Stewart is delivering the on-stage energy of the iconic superstar. With that characteristic raspy singing voice, he strives to deliver the spirit of Sir Roderick Stewart in every performance.

Having sold over 100 million records, Rod Stewart came to prominence in the late 1960s with a quality that eventually earned him induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

This event will be the last concert of the year for the Fine Arts Guild and is expected to sell out. Earlier this year, The Guild presented tribute performers for Billy Joel, The Bee Gees and Chicago, filling the lodge each time with an enthusiastic audience.

“Our audience loves to sing along and dance to songs they know and love. Guild events are known to be so much fun,” said Fine Arts Guild President Ron Martel.

General Admission tickets for this concert are $25, VIP tickets are $45. Tickets can be purchased from the Fine Arts Guild website at canyonlakeguild.com. General admission tickets are also available for purchase at the POA office.
