Letters to the Editor: Concert

Concert

Editor, The Friday Flyer

On behalf of the Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild, thank you to the good people of Canyon Lake for yet another full house event at the Chicago tribute concert last Saturday. We thank Chief Fish and Captain Carter of Cal Fire as well as Frank Opp, co-owner of the Hell’s Kitchen restaurant in Cariso Village, for sharing their experiences of the Holy fire with our audience.

We are so proud of the Canyon Lake audience for providing the most extended and emotional standing ovations for our brave firefighters and for Canyon Laker Frank Opp.

Many thanks to Carrie Pratt and Samantha Bell in POA Activities, as well as the team of POA Operations for preparing the facilities for such a large crowd in the Holiday Bay Room. We appreciate Kristina Barton and Kristin Grebe who hosted 150 of our Guild members to another terrific pre-concert reception that included food and beverage, courtesy of the Guild.

Finally, a big thank you to The Friday Flyer for their continued support of our articles and specifically Donna Ritchie and Jill Torkelson for taking such wonderful pictures and live video of our event.

Ron Martel

Fine Arts Guild President
