CL Chamber seeking vendors for Oktoberfest

Non-food vendors are invited to participate in the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce’s 8th annual Okoberfest on Saturday, Sept. 29, in the Canyon Lake Towne Center.

Oktoberfest will feature music by the American Bavarian Brass Band, traditional German food, beer and wine garden, kids zone, carnival games, vendors. This year’s contests include stein holding, beer drinking (non-alcoholic), hot dog eating and yodeling.

The chamber is also seeking sponsors for its 26th annual Parade of Frights on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 9 a.m. Parade of Frights brings costumed children to the Towne Center to trick-or-treat at more than 30 businesses using the chamber’s treasure map.

This historic event draws hundreds of children each year. Features include carnival games, costume contests, bounce house, music and a special appearance by Thunder of Storm Stadium.
