Happy Camp offers Labor Day stay-cation

Want to get away Labor Day weekend but not fight the traffic and crowds? The newly remodeled Happy Camp offers residents a great option for a stay-cation over the upcoming three day weekend.

Happy Camp, situated on three acres at the end of Longhorn Dr., is for the exclusive enjoyment of members and their guests. It’s one of the most unique amenities in Canyon Lake, offering both water views and beach-front camping. Features include 55 RV sites that accommodate modern size RVs, boat dock, gas dock, lighted parking, restrooms and showers, roped swimming area and shade picnic areas.

Reservations for Labor Day weekend opened Aug. 18. Holiday rates apply and there is a three-day minimum stay. Happy Camp is not open to the general public. Those making reservations must have a valid POA card and be a member “in good standing.”

Holiday rates are as follows:

Lake-front with full hookups: $57

Off-water with full hookups: $52

Tent sites: $47

Extra car fee: $5
