CL Little League Fall Ball signups underway

Signups are being taken for Canyon Lake Little League’s fall season. Fall Ball is for kids ages four to 11. Registration is $65 and includes instruction, hat, shirt and belt.

Players need to purchase their own pants and socks. Registration is taken online at clllca.com. There are no in-person registrations scheduled at this time. The deadline is Sept. 3.

The fall season starts in mid-September and ends before Thanksgiving break. All practices and home games will be at Gault Field.

Players must be between the ages of four through 11 on or before Aug. 31, 2018. There are no exceptions. The age restriction is a national Little League rule not governed by Canyon Lake Little League. The age the child will be Aug. 31 will be their official league age and will determine the division they will play in.

Canyon Lake, Canyon Hills and Westridge residents are within the boundaries and may play in Canyon Lake’s league. Those who do not live within the boundaries but attend Cottonwood Elementary or Canyon Lake Middle School may also play.

The league is always looking for good coaches. Fall Ball is less demanding and a great way for new coaches to test the waters and for experienced coaches to keep in touch without the time demands of the spring season.
