Taco Tuesdays end August 7

There are only two Taco Tuesday’s left before Canyon Lake’s most iconic summer event comes to an end. Kids Night was the theme of last week’s Taco Tuesday. Kona Ice was onsite serving cool treats from their truck. Activities for kids included games provided by the Family Matters Club, A Cut Above hosting a kids tile painting craft and the POA giving away temporary tattoos. DJ Mike Shroyer of Good Time Entertainment provided the music. Canyon Lake Community Theatre gave the crowd a preview of its upcoming production.

Taco Tuesdays run from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the lower level of the lodge. The family-friendly event features music, contests and a menu of combo plates and a la carte items. The indoor bar offers fountain and adult drinks. The snack bar offers cotton candy and snow cones for $2 each.

The POA provides a complimentary golf cart shuttle service that picks up and drops off on the Lighthouse Drive/Canyon Club Drive/Vacation Drive loop and at the lodge entry.

The Lighthouse Restaurant is closed during Taco Tuesdays, the bar is open with seating in the lounge area. The last Taco Tuesday of the summer will be held Aug. 7.
