POA purchases new Marine Patrol boat

At the May 6 Regular Session Board Meeting, the board approved $44,042 for a new Boston Whaler boat to replace Marine Patrol boat number three (the wakeless boat), which was inoperable.

According to the POA, insurance paid $5,950, which was estimated to repair the boat but staff recommended to replace it with a more lake-friendly patrol boat.

At the June 6 Regular Session Board Meeting, it was announced that a Boston Whaler 170 Montauk boat had been ordered from Sun County Marine.

The new boat made its debut on the lake in July, just in time for the busy Fourth of July holiday.
